As part of the current RESOURCE exhibition, Bluecoat is running a series of City as Resource knowledge-sharing events. The first saw representatives from a number of Liverpool’s artist-led spaces discussing their experiences of initiating and running projects.  Sharing their thoughts were:

Bluecoat, Liverpool’s centre for the contemporary arts, has announced the appointment of Adam Smythe as its new curator.

Artist Xavier Ribas has created a limited edition print from his exhibition, Nitrate

We are delighted to announce that artist Xavier Ribas has produced a limited edition print for Bluecoat. Desert Trails No. 18, 2012, is taken from Ribas' wider body of work Nitrate an exhibition, publication and research project based around the British colonial trade in Nitrate mining in the Atacama Desert, Chile. Proceeds from sales will enable the Bluecoat to commission new work by north west and UK based artists. The print is available for sale online or at Tickets & Information.
