Spring at the Bluecoat

It's offically Spring at the Bluecoat!

Take a look at what some of our retailers have to offer (including bespoke Mother's Day gifts for last-minute shopping!)

We are also taking bookings for our special Mother's Day Sunday Lunch in the Upstairs bistro. Click here to find out more!

Inodorem provide opulent fragrances developed at the home of perfume (Grasse, France), expertly crafted into luxurious hand crafted candles and diffusers.

Managing Director, Kerry Staniford has developed the luxiouriously fresh floral candle Aphrodite (pictured above left) which carries the signature scent of Spring: top notes bergamot and lime blossom; classic notes lily of the valley, jasmine and rose, which dries down to reveal a soft clove note adding a subtle spice and depth. The base is made up of feminine and timeless musks.

What better way to brighten up your mother's day than these luxuriously packaged candles, scented with French perfume!
Inodorem's special Mother's Day offer includes a uniquely scented candle with display cloche (above right) to keep your home looking and smelling beautiful: £20 small, £50 large.

the Bluecoat Display Centre

The Bluecoat Display Centre is a haven for enthusiasts of everything exquisite in the field of contemporary craft and design, a gallery that has been established since 1959. They sell, exhibit and promote over 350 selected contemporary craftspeople each year working in a broad variety of media.

Audrey Walker's 'What a Wonderful World' makes a perfectly unique present, inspired by the uplifting classic by Louis Armstrong (above left) £880.

Continuing the floral theme, the delicate jewellery set (above right) from the French Alps was crafted by artist Shona Carnegie: pendant £73, earrings £40.

Housing a myriad of crafted vintage fabrics, buttons, beads and bows Landbaby is the perfect haunt in which to find the ideal gift. Offering a selection of unique works created by local designers and owner Claire Bates - who started the business on a sum of just £50.

Landbaby recently led a Fabric Bird craft workshop where you could create your very own little bird to brighten up your windowsill and welcome the Spring. Claire is selling her own handmade birds for £5. Paper cacti (above) range from £12 - £16.

The creepy crawlies (pictured right) is a quirky print by Coo & Co: £40, £50 framed.
