Turner Prize 2015

We're delighted with the news that Assemble has won the 2015 Turner Prize

The award reflects not only Assemble's artistic contribution but also Liverpool's rich artistic life, particularly the creativity and tenacity of the residents of Granby Four Streets.  We at Bluecoat are looking forward to continuing conversations with Granby Four Streets and Assemble about working with visiting artists in the Granby area and reflecting the culture of Granby back at Bluecoat.

If you want to know more about the residents' campaign to reclaim their streets and the formation of the Community Land Trust (CLT) click here to read a write up of an event led by Michael Simon, Granby Four Streets CLT Co-ordinator and sociologist at Bluecoat back in August.
