Euphonia artist Emma Smith is creating a musical score based on the notes and rhythms used in social interactions.
To help her compose the score we’re inviting you to send us a sound clip of you and your friends or family chatting together. The artist will then take the notes and rhythms from your voices - the original recording won’t be made public and none of your words will be heard. It doesn’t matter what you are talking about as long as it is a friendly interaction with one or more people.
The artist is capturing the sound patterns of conversation to inspire a new musical score which will be broadcast in the Bluecoat Gallery as part of Euphonia which launches on the 26 April 2018.
Add your voice to the exhibition and receive an invitation to the opening night!
