Join us for a feast of performance poetry. Lemn Sissay’s new book, The Listener, overflows with love poems, inner-city soap operas, reflections on history, mystery and felicity; each page sings with Sissay’s visionary voice.

“The product of an imagination that is rare, passionate, committed, occasionally distraught and tender.” Straight No Chaser

Mercy has been bringing the very best in literature performance to Liverpool since 2003 and has a growing national following. Nathan Jones will be joined by Wave Machines, fellow Mercy resident Ross G. Sutherland and Salena Godden.

"Liverpool's most inventive and impulsive collective." METRO

"Salena is a tour de force... Rather than perfecting a style Salena is style. Like most artists of note - there is no one like her." Lemn Sissay
