Wiley, aka Eski-Boy aka Igloo-Boy, is the founding father of the ‘Grime’ genre. Heralded as one of the most innovative producers in British electronic music, Wiley has had a hand in the careers of nearly every act to come through the scene, most notably Roll Deep and Dizzee Rascal.
Another of Wiley’s protégés is North London's Chipmunk who has taken the Grime scene by surprise with his abilities on the mic. With recent Radio 1 airplay, including a live session for Tim Westwood, Chipmunk’s rise has been meteoric.
With two of Grime’s finest MCs on the same bill, the genre’s forefather and its latest family member, night’s like this don’t come around too often.
