Explore Tins

As well as Explore in the Hub on Sunday afternoons, Explore Tins are available to borrow every day between 10.00am - 6.00pm (a £5 returnable deposit is required). Explore Tins are selection boxes of fun family activities that you can do while exploring the galleries. Learn along the way with creative experiments and find new ways of enjoying art together.

Explore in the Hub - Sundays 12.00pm - 4.00pm

On Sundays, go and explore the current exhibition in the galleries and then come back to the Hub and make some art of your own with help from our artists and volunteers.

Enjoy family friendly food Upstairs at the Bluecoat. Little exploreres welcome.

A special menu and activities for children between 2 and 12 years old is available daily at the Upstairs at the Bluecoat restaurant bar.

Choose one main course, a drink and a desert for £4.85

Choices include Macaroni cheese bake, vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce and Apple juice.
