The second Lock-in at the Bluecoat is a special commission by live artist Susannah Hewlett who has created characters, installations and sound works for a wry celebration of the Saturday night game-show.
A shambolic recreation of the "high(er)s and low(er)s" of the Saturday night TV game show, paying homage to its winners and losers, anticipation and deflation, a host of hosts and glamorous assistants, and our sofa-bound participation.
It’s the instant tabloid fame; it’s the blender and the exercise bike. It’s one of the top ten answers. It’s what you could have won. It’s the spotlight that just went out. It’s Not You.
