Sharon Mutch
Sharon Mutch is a photographic artist who studied fine art at Manchester Metropolitan University, England. Within months of graduating, Sharon was invited to exhibit her work in a number of prestigious photographic and fine art galleries in England such as the Open Eye in Liverpool and the Viewpoint gallery in Salford.
Since then her work has been included in group exhibitions in Europe and America, including Les Rencontres D’Arles, France.
Artist’s Statement
My work seeks to investigate the cultural, medical and social experiences expressed by women when they have undergone new technologies through infertility, pregnancy and childbirth. Exploring their lack of identity and voicelessness.
