Print Studio hire
With a forty year history of printmaking on site, the Bluecoat has reopened its Print Studio to the public and is available for hire. The Studio is clean, safe, light and airy, and current working practice is geared towards new developments in ‘safe’ printmaking.
Print Studio workshops
Print Studio at the Bluecoat's first season of short courses, workshops, guinea-pig sessions and talks begins in October and November offering a regular monthly and biweekly session plus special workshops and talks with Sean Rorke (Hot Bed Press), award-winning wood engraver Anne Desmet and Neil Morris (LJMU and Eight Days a Week). All three will also be featured in an exhibition in partnership with Editions Ltd.
With an emphasis on "safe" printmaking, we are keen to build a community of printmakers who can share skills and research as well as using the facilities. The space is also available to hire for experienced groups who have undertaken an induction.
