Freelance Marketing Officer: Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival

LAAF logoLiverpool Arabic Arts Festival (LAAF) is currently looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual to be responsible for the effective positioning and promotion in all of its markets of this year’s festival that runs from 2 – 11 July

  • Developing, delivering and monitoring effective marketing campaigns for LAAF
  • Developing and implementing audience development plans 
  • Developing and managing a LAAF website and e-marketing initiatives
  • Developing a contacts database for LAAF and assisting with evaluation of LAAF activities through data analysis and market research

Period of contract:
March 2010 – until 16 July 2010. Approx 15 weeks at 3 days per week to be worked flexibly over the period of the contract to meet the demands of the work.

Fee: Up to £4,500 

Closing date: Friday 19 March 2010.

Interview date: Thursday 25 March 2010 in Liverpool at the Bluecoat.

Blue Room Facilitator

21 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9am – 5pm)

£12,000 pro rata

The Bluecoat is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to take on an important role in the development of its highly acclaimed Blue Room project.

Blue Room is an arts service for learning disabled adults run at the Bluecoat every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Three different groups meet on a weekly basis and use the exhibition programme at the Bluecoat as an inspiration for the creation of their own work in a variety of media. The programme is in a development phase and we are recruiting new staff to support a new focus on skills development for the members.

The Blue Room Facilitator will support the artistic practice of the Blue Room in a variety of ways: supporting visiting artists, coordinating materials, running some sessions, assisting with documentation and displays and contributing towards the monitoring and evaluation of the programme. This is primarily a delivery role with some administrative duties.

The Facilitator role would be highly suitable for anyone early in their career in participatory arts practice looking to learn from experienced practitioners in the field whilst also having opportunities to develop their own approach in a supportive setting.

At present this role is offered on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2011

Main Purpose: To assist the Marketing team with collecting data from visitors to the Bluecoat. The role will be flexible around your availability.

 

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers with an interest in the arts who are confident in engaging with the general public in a friendly and confidential manner. Volunteers will gain experience relevant to customer service, travel and tourism and the arts through working within an arts organisation.
