I stood in the garden this week and for the first time could clearly see how the building would look when it was finished. The crane went over the weekend and so the complete shape is visible.

A touch of the Dutch

How does ‘the vide’ sound? Better I think than ‘the void’ which is how it translates from Dutch.

The signs for the building are being commissioned and before this can be done we need to name all the parts of the building.

Back from Nimes

I’m just back from a six day break at a friend’s wedding in Nimes. Thank God for the late summer sun as I’ve not been out of Liverpool since April, which was the last time it shone.

'Anonymous Man' meets 'Donald Sutherland'
