4 x 4. Four Galleries, Four Exhibitions, One Venue
Opening on Friday 6 March and running until Sunday 10 May, 4x4 is the first in an ocasional series of simultaneous exhibitions exploring the unique features of the new gallery spaces at the Bluecoat.

Angie Hiesl Produktion is bringing TWINS, an exciting new live art event, over from Cologne in July and we need your help in finding some, er... you guessed it, twins!
Next Up exhibition extended
We are pleased to announce that we have been able to extend the finish date of Next Up: Liverpool Art Now. Originally due to end on Sunday 15 February, the exhibition will now run until Sunday 22 February.

From Friday 12 December, the gallery doors will be open once again, and the building will be brimming with new art from more than 35 Liverpool-based artists.
Shine at the Bluecoat wins art08 award
The winners of art08, the Arts Council awards for the north-west, have been announced. Celebrating collaboration between art and business, the Bluecoat and Yorkshire Bank have received the Creative Sparks award for Shine at the Bluecoat, our monthly participation activity for 11 - 16 year olds.
Upstairs re-opens Saturday 8 November
Our restaurant bar, Upstairs at the Bluecoat, reopens to the public on Saturday 8 November after extensive restoration following a fire in May. For this weekend only, we are pleased to offer a free meal from the children's menu when an accompanying adult buys a 2 course meal.
