To celebrate this achievement we'll be hosting a FREE day of singing workshops on Sunday 10 August.
Arabise Me - Launch of Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival 2008
Join us on Friday 11 July (7.30pm until late) to celebrate the launch of LIVERPOOL ARABIC ARTS FESTIVAL 2008. Curatorial collective Ziyarat will Arabise the Bluecoat with an evening of free events. You will also be able to preview the new exhibition in the galleries, NEW ENDS, OLD BEGINNINGS, (pictured) until 10.00pm.
Gigs in the Garden
We have three fantastic gigs lined up to take place in the garden this July and August, making the most of the balmy summer evenings. Starting with Black Affair on Wednesday 30 July, The Mojave Collective will then perform on Saturday 2 August, and Finn Peters joins us on Friday 15 August.
Sense of Sound at Glastonbury
The Sense of Sound choir, one of the creative industry occupiers based at the Bluecoat, are excitedly preparing to open the Jazz World Stage on Sunday 29 June at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
Hundreds of school children visit the Bluecoat
Hundreds of North Liverpool school children visited the Bluecoat on Tuesday 10 June, to meet Children's Laureate, Michael Rosen. As we head into summer we have lots more events for families and young visitors coming up.
