Hub / Espresso
The hub is the central ground floor area in the Bluecoat; the area you enter when you enter the main entrance. This space provides access to the galleries, the performance space, Upstairs bistro, artist studios and the Bluecoat administration. You will also find the tickets and information desk here where all enquiries and ticket bookings can be made and the espresso cafe where you can get a light snack and a selection of hot and cold drinks. The hub is also the creative heart of the Bluecoat a place where a place where creativity is celebrated, with art from production to consumption and in which there is no divide between practitioner and audience. Performances take place here, you can relax, meet, join in and have a bite to eat...
The Hub is also occasionally available for hire on request and can cater for a Reception of 150.
