Last chance to see Now Then

Hew Locke 'Sin Eater' the BLuecoat, 2008 This weekend is your last chance to see Now Then, the first exhibition in the Bluecoat's brand new wing of galleries. If you haven't yet seen Alec Finlay's colourful nest boxes or Paul Morrison's 100 foot long wall painting, now is the time to visit. If you have already been, you'll know that Hew Locke's giant Sin Eater is worth coming back for and there is still some space (just about) to tie another wish to Yoko Ono's Wish Tree. With repeat viewings, Janet Hodgson's Re-run reveals more of its classic film references too. Now Then closes on Sunday 4 May, so that installation of the next exhibition can begin. Variable Capital will open on Thursday 15 May and run until Sunday 29 June.
