Fire at the Bluecoat
A fire broke out at the Bluecoat in the early hours of the morning of 13 May. The level of damage, which appears to be confined to the kitchen, restaurant and office areas with the majority of the building undamaged, is currently being assessed. We are working to establish when we can reopen to the public.
Alastair Upton, Chief Executive at the Bluecoat said, "Obviously we are shocked and saddenend that this has happened. We are working hard to get the Bluecoat open for our tenant occupiers and the public again as soon as possible. We would like to thank the Merseyside Fire Brigade and National Museums Liverpool disaster recovery team for their help."
