North Liverpool schoolchildren in the courtyard Hundreds of North Liverpool school children visited the Bluecoat on Tuesday 10 June, to meet Children's Laureate, Michael Rosen. Alongside writers from the Windows Project, Rosen gave entertaining workshops and signed books.

As we head into summer, we have lots more events for families and young visitors coming up. From Mr Roscoe's Garden to Valerie Bloom's Come, Me Pickney! poetry and fiction performance.

If you can't make it down to the Bluecoat you can still participate in our monthly Shine activities. Until the end of June you can write the opening of a spy thriller, and then throughout July you can try your hand at designing a piece of jewellery.
