Sick of our soggy summer? Fed up of the grey days and drizzle? Inject some colour into your life at Poetry Glam or The Butterfly’s Ball, this weekend at the Bluecoat.

On Saturday 16 August, 7:30pm, Dead Good Poets Society presents Poetry Glam Slam as18 wordsmiths compete for the title of Liverpool's Most Glamorous Poet. Dust off your diamante and fluff up your feather boas for the chance to win the prize for Most Glamorous Audience Member.

Then on Sunday 17 August from 12:00pm - 1:00pm enjoy a fabulous free family event (suitable for 0 - 7 year olds). Come and join us at The Butterfly’s Ball to celebrate William Roscoe’s beautiful poem dress-up, make-believe and a cast of characters brought to life. Hosted by Austin Mitchell and Katy Anne Bellis.

If the weather is nice, The Butterfly's Ball will take place in the garden as well as the Garden Room. If not, we won’t let the weather spoil our fun!
