Upstairs re-opens Saturday 8 November
Our restaurant bar, Upstairs at the Bluecoat, reopens to the public on Saturday 8 November after extensive restoration following a fire in May.
For this weekend only, we are pleased to offer a free meal from the children's menu when an accompanying adult buys a 2 course meal. (One paying adult qualifies for a free meal for one child. Valid for the opening weekend in Upstairs at the Bluecoat only).
Between 12.00pm - 4.00pm on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November, you might be lucky enough to spot visions of ghostly school children as they move around the building! Artist Geraldine Pilgrim, working with the Blue Coat School kicks off our Liverpool Live programme and haunts our building with Traces.
The building will also be animated with literature readings and performances, as the Shipping Lines Literary Festival plays host to Roger McGough, Brian Patten, Simon Armitage and Philip Norman (with his book John Lennon - The Life).
