'Upstairs at the Bluecoat' is a restaurant and bar located on the first floor of the building serving a wide selection of food and drinks. The bar serves wines by the glass, carafe and bottle, local and boutique beers and impeccably sourced soft drinks. The restaurant offers regional, home-cooked food using locally sourced ingredients with daily specials. The menu will change seasonally as Head Chef Nigel Smith believes in using the very best local produce available and treating it with the care and respect it deserves.

Upstairs at the Bluecoat is open from 12.00pm until 10.30pm Tuesday - Sunday, offering lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Last orders for food is at 9.30pm. Light snacks are also available throughout the day at the bar.

'Espresso at the Bluecoat' located in the Hub, offers illy coffee, Jing leaf teas, Monbana hot chocolate and a range of soft drinks together with a selection of sandwiches, salads, homemade cakes and biscuits that are freshly made on the premises and able to be eaten on site or taken away.Espresso at the Bluecoat is open 8.00am - 6.00pm daily.

From April 2008, we are delighted to offer a wide range of traditional and contemporary spaces from board rooms to dining rooms and galleries to courtyards for events at the Bluecoat.

The diversity of locations within the Bluecoat offers both corporate and private clients a wealth of opportunities for entertaining. The galleries and rooms at the heart of Bluecoat make an ideal backdrop for drinks parties or dinners. The convenient, central Liverpool location of the Bluecoat, means that meeting spaces are perfect for daytime business events.
