Calling Creative Talent
Tenant Recruitment Launch Wednesday 18th July 2007
To really make the building a vibrant hub for contemporary culture, we are now searching for one of the key elements of the Bluecoat – the creative people and companies that will base themselves in the building when we reopen in early 2008.
We are really pleased to say that word of how incredible the Bluecoat is going to be is spreading. We have already received 150 expressions of interest from people and companies thinking of becoming part of the Bluecoat.
Although we are yet to see what the new team of tenants will look like, one thing that is certain is that those who join us, whether they make jewellery, sell books, design brands or paint portraits, will be vibrant and skilled in what they do.
Lynne Robertson, new Business Development Manager at the Bluecoat, is overseeing the recruitment of tenants and will be providing business support and guidance to ensure they thrive.
Lynne says ‘The Bluecoat will be a place where our tenants can develop ideas, inspire others, be supported and given encouragement to grow and prosper. It will also be a place of inspiration for those who visit.’
We are looking forward to meeting the people we could be working alongside at the Tenant Recruitment Launch, 18th July 2007. Any potential tenants; retailers, artists and creative businesses, will be able to see plans, get information and talk to staff about becoming part of the Bluecoat’s cultural hub. There will also be refreshments and musical entertainment provided.
