Do we have the oldest Liverbird in Liverpool?

We have reason to believe that the Bluecoat is home to the oldest Liverbird in Liverpool…can you prove us wrong?
As we are the oldest building in the city centre, completed in around 1725, our Liverbird is arguably the oldest surviving example of the city’s symbol. The stone Liverbird had been damaged and its legs were broken so it was taken down to be restored. After a painstaking conservation process, the Liverbird is back to its former glory on the Bluecoat facade.
