Off-site: 300 years in Bluecoat Archives at Liverpool Record Office
- Fri, 03 Mar 2017 - Fri, 28 Apr 2017
- 9.00 AM - 5.00 PM
Bluecoat, Liverpool’s centre for the contemporary arts, celebrates it’s 300th anniversary in 2017. Thanks to National Lottery funding, throughout the year the My Bluecoat project will host a programme of heritage events, exhibitions and community projects which will help audiences explore different aspects of Bluecoat’s history. During the year the project will also explore and digitise Bluecoat’s archive which is currently held over three sites at Bluecoat, The Blue Coat School and the Liverpool Record Office.
This exhibition, located at the Liverpool Record Office is just a selection of this material which will soon be made available to the public on a new My Bluecoat website and explores the buildings architecture, it's history as a school and radicalism at Bluecoat.
The material in this exhibition has been selected and curated by My Bluecoat volunteers:
