The Christmas party at Bluecoat was awesome!
I am really getting into the Holiday spirit.
Please convey my biggest thanks and admiration to party DJ- Bryan Biggs, the music he has chosen was fantastic.
The vinyl records music awoke my very pleasant memories from my childhood and youth.
With every new music gadget invention and improvement, the advantage is supposed to be better sound. It actually is. You are feeling like the music is live with the clearer, crisper, fuller, high-definition, higher quality stereo sound.
Then why is it that putting on an old vinyl records and hearing the scratching, hissing and popping feels so good?
It is maybe - partly nostalgia, partly - "old is cool," partly - the experience of selecting, setting up and laying down the needle, and to some people, for me for example, vinyl record does actually sound better than a new digital recordings like CDs and mp3s.
DJ'ing for the party is a really special thing when DJ has the freedom to experiment, play down tempo or long tracks, or just joke on the air, but DJ'ing out is also great when he can really tune in to the crowd, get them dancing and sometimes catch their reactions to new sounds. So I like DJ Bryan Biggs and his vinyl music very much!
The food and drink at the party was great organizing as well.
