Liverpool's centre for the contemporary arts

DaDaFest

DaDaFest""

DaDaFest is an Associate of the Bluecoat.

DaDaFest is an innovative disability arts organisation based in Liverpool and working Internationally, delivering the festival and other arts events to promote high quality disability & deaf arts from unique cultural perspectives. It also produces opportunities for disabled and d/Deaf people to access the arts, including training and a young people’s programme.

Our aim is "To inspire, develop and celebrate talent and excellence in disability and deaf arts" and we aspire to be culturally relevant and accessible at all times.

Our highlight event is DaDaFest, the festival of Disability and Deaf Arts, which happens every other year. The 11th DaDaFest ran from 13 July – 2 September 2012, and included the exhibition Niet Normaal: Difference on Display at the Bluecoat and a performance programme which brought artists from across the globe to Liverpool to showcase and celebrate the best in Disability and Deaf Arts.
