Course hosts - dot-art Services
dot-art Services are partners with the Bluecoat, helping to deliver a range of courses and programmes including life drawing, painting, photography and other applied art disciplines.
Lucy Byrne of dot-art Services said:
“The response to our art classes has been really encouraging and I am very much looking forward to working with the Bluecoat to develop and improve our program over the next twelve months. I am particularly excited about our ideas for a sampler course, which will not only give people the chance to try their hand at unusual skills and techniques such as stained glass and stop motion animation, and provide ten talented local artists and craftspeople the opportunity to share their expertise, but also allows us to see which disciplines will be suitable (and popular!) for future longer courses.”
Emma Smith, Creative Enterprise Manager at the Bluecoat, added:
“The Bluecoat believes that everyone can be creative. This new strand of classes broadens dot-art’s and our existing programme, offering everyone an opportunity to learn a new skill and experience something different. We are pleased to be working with dot-art and hope the classes succeed in igniting new interest in these art forms. Opening up creative practice is something the Bluecoat does in its exhibitions, its programme of events and its Participation activities and we believe dot-art’s classes continue to do just that.”
