Stuart Harrison

Stuart

Stuart has been a freelance illustrator and cartoonist for 19 years, since graduating from Kingston in 1991. He lived and worked in London for ten years before moving to Southport. Together with his wife Angela Salt, who is an illustrator turned writer, he set up a studio called Fun Crew in 2006; primarily creating intellectual properties for children’s media but also running cartoon workshops in the North West. His work is character driven and versatile with a commercial approach. Stuart says he will “pretty much draw anything for anyone!” Over the years Stuart has worked with everyone from global giants to ‘one-man bands’.

His clients include: Kellogg's, M&S, Disney, Sony, B.T., Virgin, Orange, M.T.V., Wall's, Mars, Channel 4, Asda, Clarks, Sainsbury's, Woolworth's, Toys R Us and Motorola. Stuart has been involved in design projects from conceptualisation and visualizing, through to completion. Editorial and publishing work is his mainstay, but he can produce artwork in flash for animation. He is particularly interested in character designs and brand identity.
