Privacy Policy
The Bluecoat takes data protection very seriously and only contacts those who have signed (or ‘ticked’ online) to receive information from us. Visitors to the Bluecoat, and customers buying tickets for performances at the Bluecoat, are invited to join our mailing list (they can choose to be added to our brochure mailing list or our email/e-newsletter list, or both). Anyone who is in our database who has not agreed to receive mailings from us will not be contacted.
In addition, our visitors/customers can also opt into receiving information from carefully selected third parties. We do not pass on our patrons details in this instance, but rather we may include a flyer from a partner organisation with our own brochure, if we deem it relevant.
The Bluecoat is involved in lots of festivals with partner organisations, one of the biggest of which being the Liverpool Biennial. Acting as an umbrella over most of Liverpool’s arts organisations (including Tate Liverpool, OpenEyeGallery and FACT) for two months every other year; each of our mailing lists are merged for the Biennial mailing and then this one-off multi-list is destroyed by the mailing house and not passed on to anyone else.
