Grant will present a lively account of this remarkable band, from their humble origins in the slums of Trench Town, Kingston, to their first recordings and subsequent international fame as reggae superstars. This absorbing biography unravels the mysteries of Jamaica’s complex and diverse culture and the enigmatic band which helped put reggae on a world stage.
