In his new book Deaf School: The Non Stop Pop Art Punk Rock Party (published by Liverpool University Press), leading rock music writer, author and broadcaster Paul Du Noyer tells the story of influential Liverpool College of Art band Deaf School, whom he considers second only to the Beatles in importance of Merseyside music.  'An artistic success and not a commercial failure', the band's short meteoric career and subsequent reunions have endeared them to local audiences over the past 40 years.  Du Noyer discusses the 'delicious secret' that is Deaf School with the Bluecoat's Artistic Director Bryan Biggs, and former art lecturer and artist Steve Hardstaff.
