Presenting a brand new, experimental show to mark this year’s May Day, at The Bluecoat, May 1st, 7.30pm.

A celebration of solidarity and the human spirit. With an innovative mix of story, spoken word, drama, song and humour. The music is interspersed with inspirational talks, spoken word pieces, incisive poetry and a dramatic vignette, laced with passion and humour. Featuring the music of Alun Parry, with the spoken word awesomeness of Alice Colquhoun, Chris Allen, Greg Quiery, Louise Fazackerley and Morag Reid – with a final spoken piece by Alun himself.

Enjoy an uplifting celebration of social struggle. Leave with your hearts full and your spirits high. In a time when we can clearly see our losses, this show will remind us of our huge gains, and how we won them.
