As part of the international project Housing-Critical Futures, the journal Architecture_MPS and the Public Health Film Society present this one-day film and debate event. Bringing together public health officials, planners, policy makers, architects and filmmakers it examines the relationship between cities, housing and public health through the medium of film.

The event will include a screening of Patrick Keiller’s film The Dilapidated Dwelling and talks from John Ashton, President of the Faculty of Public Health, and Luciana Berger, MP, Shadow Minister for Public Health.

The day includes:

10am Screening: The Dilapidated Dwelling, Director Patrick Keiller
2.30pm Talk: Luciana Berger MP, Shadow Minister of Public Health
3.30pm Talk: John Ashton, President of the Faculty of Public Health 

The day is divided into two sessions:
9.30am - 12.30pm - Part One. Housing, Health and Film.
1.15 - 5.00pm - Part Twio. The Built Environment and Public Health.
