Due to popular demand, this heart-warming story and multimedia performance written by Sharp, returns following its first, sell-out show in Liverpool earlier this year. A sea story set in a library, a love story cast out to sea, it tells of a whale called Lucky, who comes ashore in Liverpool and wanders the city in search of lost love. An immersive and otherworldly experience, Whale Song combines narration by Cathy Butterworth, live music by Mark Magill with Annamarie Owens, animations by Gillian Smith, and props designed by Claire Bates of Landbaby at the Bluecoat.
