Heritage Open Days Festival returns to the Bluecoat this September! Join us for talks, tours, and family-friendly activities exploring this years theme of 'Architecture'.

Creative Community

Bluecoat's creative community includes artists in residence, studio holders, retailers and other independent creative businesses.

The Bluecoat is home to a variety of independent retailers offering an eclectic range of beautifully designed handmade and unique products. Some shops are open when the main Bluecoat building is closed on Mondays. Check each store for their opening ours.
