Angie Hiesl talks about TWINS and the ideas that informed it. Resonating with themes such as human cloning and the identity of the individual, TWINS – how do I know I am me... elevated everyday interactions into something extraordinary. The work, involving five pairs of twins – two from Liverpool, three from Germany - was presented against the raw industrial backdrop of the Furnace at the A Foundation (now the Camp & Furnace) in Liverpool on 3 and 4 July, 2009.
