Over half a century after Bluecoat Society of Arts was founded, the organisation's 1983 annual report reflects how the early vision for the arts centre was being realised, with a full programme of exhibitions, as well as events across the performing arts spectrum. The report's cover features American artist Robert Longo's Untitled (Men in the Cities series), a large charcoal/graphite drawing from ICA, London touring exhibition, Urban Kisses, shown at Bluecoat at the end of 1982.
