The 2016 Lowry Lounge programme

2016

The seventh Lowry Lounge continued the format of a walking tour to 're-place' Lowry in his Merseyside landscape, this time with a consular theme, followed by an afternoon comprising a book launch and readings, poetry, a talk on the British Situationist Ralph Rumney, known as ‘The Consul’, and a screening of one of Lowry's favourite films, Mad Love (1935), together with a toast to the writer and Lowry-themed music during the programme.
