Inspired by 'Float' in our library space, make your own painted and collaged hanging mobile with Millie.

Millie designed the mobile in our gallery, as well as the ice-cream cart in our hub or courtyard.

Recommended age: 5-11 years.


Free, drop in 1-3pm on Wed 10 Aug.

The workshop will take place in Gallery Three, our special creative space for children.

About Millie

Millie Toyin Olateju (b. 1996) lives and works in her hometown, Liverpool, UK. She studied BA Mixed Media Fine Art at the University of Westminster, London, graduating in 2019. She has since been commissioned by the Bluecoat, and Penguin Random House. In 2021, she was a recipient of the Liverpool Biennial x 24 Kitchen Street Artist Research and Development grant. Recent exhibitions include Refractive Pool: Contemporary Painting in Liverpool, Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool (2022), and Without Walls Outdoor Group Exhibition: Celebrating Liverpool's Black Artists, Blundell Lane, Bluecoat Gallery, Liverpool (2020).
