Get involved with a new project from PhD student and artist Susuana Amoah (aka The Black Gallerina) exploring decolonial curatorial practices in English public contemporary art galleries.

The deadline to sign up is Friday 6 May.

Following the #GallerySoWhite online exhibition, Amoah is seeking people in the contemporary curatorial field to take part in a series of Action research workshops. 14 participants are needed for each workshop who have an interest in decolonial approaches to curation in public contemporary art galleries.

The workshops aim to examine the role of the curator in facilitating cultural equity in public art galleries and imagining new approaches to curatorial practice and work together to co-create a framework for a Decolonial curatorial education. Travel bursaries are available.

Workshops will take place at the Bluecoat on Sat 14 May, 12-3pm.

The deadline to sign up is Friday 6 May.
