Bluecoat is open!

We couldn’t be happier to finally welcome you back through our doors again.

Our newly renovated Hub is waiting for you to rest and relax in.

Grab a bite to eat and a coffee from our cafe while admiring newly commissioned artwork by Harold Offeh, Babak Ganjei and Sumuyya Khader.

A dedicated children and family space will keep the littles ones entertained too, with lots of self-led creative activities.

Step into our peaceful garden and take time out under the trees, the perfect place for an extra-long lunch break.

In the gallery you’ll find painting, film, sculpture and more from this year’s Liverpool Biennial The Stomach and the Port. You can't miss the striking and colourful Bluecoat Platform in our front courtyard, a brand new family friendly sculpture designed by children, with artists Simon & Tom Bloor, for children.

There’s lots for you to enjoy, so get yourself along to our beautiful building, we think it’s been long enough.

We have several safety measures in place to make your visit as safe and as enjoyable as possible. These include a booking system to ensure social distancing. We recommend booking to guarantee your desired entrance time, even if you’re just visiting the cafe or garden.
