The next iteration of The Art Schools of North West England exhibition by artists John Beck and Matthew Cornford, first shown at Bluecoat in 2018/19, is now at Bury Art Museum & Sculpture Centre (Moss Street, Bury, BL9 0DR), 12 October - 25 January 2020. The North West Art School Record Machine focuses on the region’s art schools as incubators of pop music and graphic design that helped transform British popular culture. Bluecoat has selected over 100 record sleeves reflecting the wealth of musicians and graphic designers who have emerged from the region's art schools from the past 50 years, from the Beatles to Stealing Sheep. The exhibition is part of Design Manchester DM19 Festival.
