As a new millennium started, the Bluecoat programme was characteristically diverse as indicated here, with artists from the local to the international, including: Sonia Boyce, Ugo Rondinone, Keith Tippett and Julie Tippetts, Superflex, Martin Carthy, Duende Company, Earthfall dance company, new writing from Ireland, local drumming group Mana Bozo, and Bluecoat's outreach community programme, Bluecoat Connect.
