Hew Locke wall drawing in the exhibition, Now Then

2013

The new arts wing was launched in 2008 with Now Then, an exhibition of commissioned works by Alec Finlay, Janet Hodgson, Paul Morrison and Hew Locke, who created this large mixed media wall drawing in gallery 4 upstairs. Yoko Ono also returned, having first presented her work at Bluecoat in 1967, with a gallery installation, a wishing tree in the garden, and a live performance.
