The Bluecoat's outreach participation project Bluecoat Connect was the arts centre's first programme to have dedicated funds and staff. Complementing long-running existing art classes for individuals, it built on earlier one-off learning initiatives working with local communities. An exhibition celebrated the first two years of the programme.
