The first half century of Bluecoat as a centre for the arts is charted in this book by Bisson, a modernist painter of distinction who had a studio at Bluecoat for many years and was the Daily Post art critic. He was perhaps the Sandon’s most adventurous artist, heavily influenced by modern trends from Europe.
