Following an open callout, we received short video applications from over 50 artists to participate in the programme, including applications from storytellers, visual artists, performers and musicians.
Children from our Out of the Blue art clubs selected 12 artists to go through to the second stage. After watching each video, they scored each artist from 1 - 10 and wrote what they like or don't like about each one.
The activities took place in our courtyard on Bluecoat Platform, our family friendly outdoor sculpture designed by children from our afterschool art club Out of the Blue with artists Simon & Tom Bloor.
