Sun 13 Sep, 2-4pm
A workshop for collective exploration of ESEA lineages and heritage through the assisted system of Tarot, storytelling and collective writing. In the symbolic magical construct, and corresponding to the suit of Pentacles and Cups, the North symbolises earth - the land, terrain, territory, the rock of ancestors, cycles of life, composting and emergence; the West connotes emotions, intuition, affect, memory, movement and flow, scrying through time and reflection.
Designed and led by curator and researcher, Annie Jael Kwan, this bespoke workshop is inspired by the historical multi-movements and tides of Liverpool and the Mersey Estuary. The workshop offers the opportunity to explore how these aspects might allow intergenerational stories to be shared as a collective memory, and draw connections between different specificities of space and time. This event is a partnership with LESEAN and The Bluecoat.
