We searched for anyone aged 14-18 from Liverpool to lead on an arts programme at Bluecoat, as part of our Colonial Legacies project exploring the history of the Bluecoat's building and its connection to the transatlantic slave trade. Not only are they able to lead on the programme, but they also get the chance to gain a Bronze or Silver Arts Award.
Our Summer Open Days gave participants the chance to learn more about the project and see how they could get involved. We also had some art activities for them to get creative.
