As part of their UK wide Change the Scene tour, Club Soda are teaming up with Liverpool’s inclusive arts communities and showcasing three artists for their first appearances in Liverpool.
Performers from inclusive theatre company RAWD will introduce an action-packed line-up featuring Club Soda musicians Theophilus Ajayi, Luminous Starchild and DJ Flukey Dook.
Blue Room artist and musician Joshua Henderson will premiere his debut music video, inspired by the Bluecoat, while Young Blue Room artists will share their work and invite you to create your own prints.

What is Change the Scene?
Led by Croydon-based accessible music charity Club Soda, Change the Scene is a campaign that spotlights autistic and learning-disabled musicians and DJs, whilst also encouraging mainstream venues and audiences to engage with the thriving disability arts scene.
Luminous Starchild
Classically-trained producer Luminous Starchild is a visionary with the music to match.
Inspired by cute-core and J-pop, the other-worldly imagination of Luminous Starchild (they/them) continues to grow whilst taking us along for the ride as both a live performer and a DJ.
The producer and musician—who is classically trained in piano and composition—began making drum and bass on Garageband at the start of the pandemic. What began as something to pass the time became a whole new creative direction for the South Londoner. Two years later and with a home studio setup, they released their debut EP ‘Lucid Dreaming’, a pulsating, high-octane journey that pulls from breakcore, vocaloid hyper-pop, Euro-dance and Euro-beat.
In 2025, Luminous Starchild was commissioned to compose a piece that would be performed alongside the London Mozart Players orchestra. Performed and filmed at the iconic Fairfield Halls, it was a deeply moving and inspirational performance that captured pure, unadulterated joy.
DJ FlukeyDook
You can trust FlukeyDook to get the job done. The vinyl-loving Croydonite has a penchant for underground sounds, spinning garage, house and hip-hop. As one of the most experienced DJs in the Club Soda crew—he’s got 30 years of DJing under his belt—he knows how to life a dancefloor with funk-laden beats and bouncy basslines.
Theophilus Ajayi

A force of nature, Greenwich-born Nigerian artist Theophilus Ajayi is a singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Drawing from pop, funk and rock, Theophilus is particularly inspired by the places he visits and the stories behind them. Check out Blackpool with its West African grooves, ‘Croydon’ with its indie-sleaze temperament and the acoustic ballad ‘Liverpool’.
Theophilus Ajayi’s love of music began in childhood, taking up the guitar and drums in primary school. It wouldn’t be long until he added keys and singing to the mix, and began making demos, developing his penchant for song-writing.
With two EPs behind him—’Epic’ and ‘Destinations’, there’s plenty ahead of this vibrant and dynamic autistic artist.
