Visit our Tickets and Information desk in our Hub area for information on our exhibitions, building, or to book tickets for our event programme. Our staff will be happy to help with any of your questions.

Access

Wheelchair access is available to all areas of Bluecoat’s new wing and garden. Due to restrictions as a Listed building there is limited access to the older parts of the building.

Please advise Tickets & Information when booking your ticket if you are bringing a guide dog.

Induction Loops are fitted in a number of areas of the building including Tickets & Information, the cafe, the Performance Space and the Sandon Room.

There are toilets located on both our ground and first floor, including disabled toilet facilities.

Lifts icon

Lifts

There is lift access for visitors who are not able to use the stairs in the new wing and gallery space. Lifts can be used to access the Bistro, performance space, and upstairs exhibition spaces.

Our cafe is located on the ground floor of our building and serves a full range of meals, snacks, cakes and drinks. The cafe area is fully accessible and assistance is always available on request from our staff.
